Lessons

At the Colosseum you can also take lessons in skateboarding and BMXing.

A lesson block consists of 10 lessons. During the lessons for the children, we work with a roll certificate that keeps track of the level a child has and what a child can already do with a skateboard or BMX. At the end of a lesson block, each child is also awarded a Diploma. We also have a progress report for all participants, including adults. The teachers keep track of progress here.

A lesson lasts 45 minutes. Parents can wait in the canteen during the lesson. After the lesson, the children have another 15 minutes to show their parents what they have learned. Every last lesson of a lesson block is also a viewing lesson.

Our skateboard lessons are for children aged 8 years and older, we also have a girls only lesson and an 18+ lesson. The Girls only class is for all girls aged 13 and older. The 18+ lessons are for everyone aged 18 and older.

For BMX there is a lesson for children from 8 years old. If you are older, feel free to ask about the possibilities.

Has the lesson block already started but would you like to participate? Ask about the possibilities to join. If you don't have your own skateboard or BMX yet, you can borrow them from us during our lessons. There are no additional charges. There are also plenty of helmets available.

See the rates page for the costs.

We work together with the youth and adults fund for sport and culture and the education fund for sport and culture. Ask about the options if you want to make use of this.
